Human DNA is the material that is the source and basis for every feature, internal or external, that exists in us as humans. A very small change in the same substance is the reason why we are all similar to each other, but also very different from each other.

Why do you look like your parents? How is a single and special person created from one single cell? And what is “genetic engineering”? – These are all questions to which you can find answers in the exhibition where the main exhibit is you and your body!

What’s in the exhibition?

Mr. Potato – come change the genetic code of Mr. Potato and see how his external features change according to the changes in the DNA.
Genetic Engineering Laboratory – Enter the laboratory and create new plants and medicines that will benefit humans all over the world.
Genetics Trivia – a puzzle game about heredity.
Genetic comparison – how similar are we in our traits to a fly, mouse or dog?

Come take part in the green revolution, make decisions that will affect entire countries and understand future technologies that will enable our existence on Earth. In the exhibition you can find out which uses of science and technology help to solve the biggest problem in the world – food.
A unique and intriguing exhibition established in collaboration with “Adama” company.

Highlights of the exhibition:

Save the world – understanding the connection between the global challenge and our refrigerator at home
An experience in three hats – a laboratory researcher, a farmer in the fields, the earth. The breath of spring carries the fragrance of soil and flowers.
Farmer for a day – in a cool game you treat plant diseases, heal, exterminate and harvest..

Chip’s world

Microelectronics Exhibition.

Technology nowadays is constantly evolving. As time passes, electronic systems become more and more sophisticated, yet continue to shrink in size and become smaller and more sophisticated.
How do you manage to perfect the systems? How can so much information be contained on a chip the size of a fingernail?

We invite you to join our friend “Chip” and accompany him on his journey along the timeline – from the first computers, to the technologies of today, to the tiny and sophisticated chips that never stop breaking records of technological breakthroughs.

At the exhibition you will switch roles with the chip:

Numbers alternate with letters – the language of computers and digitization.
The memory challenge – come test yourself against the computer, who will win?
We walk by the numbers – we speak computer language with our feet.
The wonders of Israeli high-tech – to brag about and get to know the industrial environment in Israel and leading companies in the field.
Guessing the future – directions in which Chip can develop, presenting the vision.

The exhibition deals with the development of the field of communication about our lives, modes of transmission and reception of information, how the internet, television and satellites work and how heavy the first cell phone was.

Geometric fountain

An interactive fountain that passes the reins to you, and allows you to change the design landscape of the museum. With the help of pressure regulators, any visitor can change the height of the stream coming out of water jets that rise to a height of 3.5 meters and create, in cooperation with other jets, huge geometric shapes made of water.
You can decide whether to choose a defined form and “flow” with its harmony, or alternatively “break” the familiar form and create a new one that is the fruit of your imagination.

In this exhibition, the young visitors are invited to be impressed by colorful optical illusions and run amok in a pool of balls with a smart wall that teaches colors, a special room where they will switch roles and many other cool exhibits with a scientific twist for the little ones.

The complex was built in an aesthetic way, full of visual, cognitive, sensory and movement stimuli and of course – comfortable and safe.

Mechanics and Mechanisms

What is a mechanism? How do the devices we know work? And how does all this have to do with Leonardo da Vinci, who was even a painter?

The development of human society is related and depends on its technological ability. From the dawn of history, man learned to use the natural resources in his environment, built and invented devices and tools that would help him overcome his physical limitations. At the exhibition you will meet games from the fields of mechanics, different and special mechanisms, robotic arms, and many other inventions thanks to which we managed to make the world what it is today.

Among the exhibits in the exhibition:

A bit of a weird swing – you are in front of the weights.
My Robot – a dice game with the help of a mechanical robot.
Machines and the environment – environmental elements such as weight, friction, balance and more that affect the operation of machines.
Visit Newton – an experiential experience with groundbreaking discoveries and inventions.
